HSP and Coronavirus (COVID-19): Health and Safety reassurance

In appreciation of the concerns to health which the corona-virus outbreak across the UK has caused, we would like all our customers to know the steps HSP is taking to enable business to continue whilst at the same time safeguarding the health and well-being of all customers and staff which is our greatest concern.

We have, from the outset, monitored official UK Government and NHS guidance and will continue to do so. For now, business continues, and the website is operating to its usual capacity.

Safety measures that we have taken

Since safety is highest on our list of priorities, we have ensured that HSP cleaning and hygiene policy and practice are more stringent than is usual. On our premises, personal hygiene of colleagues has been optimised with guidance on 20 second handwashing to take place regularly multiple times a day. Alcohol based hand sanitizers are supplied throughout the building for staff to use whenever needed. Shared areas are regulated also to ensure the prerequisite social distancing takes place for the optimum safety to health.

In the interest of being proactive and preventative, there are now no physical non-critical business meetings taking place and this will continue as long as it is necessary. Also stopped are visits from suppliers, training of personnel, face to face meetings excepting essential deliveries. In place of these business activities, HSP has initiated the use of digital spaces including conference calls, and phone and video meetings.

Supply of stock

HSP regularly liaises with its suppliers and currently does not have any concerns over supply. Deliveries are regular and HSP is pleased to state that it is confident of fulfilling all orders.

If there should become difficulties in supply, then we shall update the website and places notices on those products impacted.
